About Ohangwena
Ohangwena is one of the 13th Political regions and is situated north of the country. It shares borders with Angola. People in the region are at  high risk of HIV/AIDS due to the EPZ statues in the region (Helao Nafidi town) and due to its high population density than other region.
The region has 235 schools and 35 Clusters.

What We Do

• Train Teachers ( Window of Hope Facilitators and Contact Teachers, trainings and give them basic facts on HIV and AIDS.


• Train Facilitators of My Future is My Choice,a Life Skills Programme
• Distribute IEC materials to schools and regional staff.
• Produce a newsletter as part of awareness on HIV/AIDS related issues,especially The Northern Girls Conference.
• Advice schools on HIVand AIDS activities
• Monitor HIV and AIDS activities in schools
