RACE Oshana is proud to have completed training HIV Contact Teachers in every school in the region having grade six and higher. Teachers in all four of our circuits have also been trained to facilitate the Junior Window of Hope programme.
Our office also works closely with the regional office staff to ensure educational trainings are offered particularly for departments and divisions requesting such information during regular staff meetings. Ongoing workplace programmes are currently limited in nature, such as commemorating AIDS Awareness Week and World AIDS Day, but RACE Oshana plans to enhance this aspect of our work.
